AU Medieval Guild Meetings

The Barony of Ildhafn is sponsoring a fledgling medieval group, based at Auckland University

uckland University Medieval Guild now known as St Dionysius meets every Wednesday at 7pm in the Lower Common Room or Club Space at the University (just off the quad). Come along to discuss all things medieval and partake in workshops on everything from Armouring and Archery to Weaving and Wenching!

The aim is to experience all aspects of medieval life and to run workshops on campus for a range of medieval topics. We plan to hold workshops on medieval arts, crafts and pastimes, tournaments and feasts.

We are planning:

a series of workshops, to sew ourselves medieval clothing
a series of classes, so we can learn some medieval songs and dances
a feast, whereat we can wear our medieval clothes, dance and sing
