Cantons

antons are regional groups under the shelter of a Barony. Ildhafn is blessed with one Canton called Cluain (which covers the Hamilton, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and King Country area).

Guilds

uilds are officially recognised groups interested in (usually) a particular art or craft. They are open to everyone. Guilds tend to pop up, vanish, pop up again and so on. Contact the Arts & Sciences Officer if you are interested in any of these, or any other art or craft, and they can often put you in touch with other like-minded people.

Embroiderers' Guild

Households

ouseholds are usually semi-organised groups of friends who wish to get together for one or more SCA-related purposes of some sort and view themselves as a unit in this context. They have no official status and may or may not be interested in taking on new members.

War Units

War Units are groups that enjoy fighting together, usually wearing the same heraldry.

The Company of St George

Fighting unit interested in portraying a company of English soldiers during the second half of the 14th Century. Armour and weapons must meet the standards of the Company Charter (period helms are mandatory - no bar grills here thanks!). Contact Sir Inigo.

The St Patrick Stouts

The heavy fighting unit of the household of St. Arnou. Contact Lord Benedict.
